Our Order Process
Once your order is received, it goes through a series of essential checks. First, we review all the files you’ve uploaded, comparing them to your order specifications. If there’s an issue with the artwork or a file is missing, we’ll reach out to you immediately for clarification or additional files.
Our products are printed at our expansive facility in the UK, and we pride ourselves on delivering products within 5-6 working days. Despite having automated systems, we continue to perform manual checks to ensure everything is in order before we move forward with production. If any issue arises, we’ll contact you directly to resolve it.
Detailed Process Breakdown
Initial Artwork Check
When you place an order online, we cross-check your artwork against the order details. This step ensures that file types, sizes, and quantities align with your specifications. If something doesn’t match, we place the order on hold and notify you for further action.
Pre-Press: Preparing for Print
Once we’ve verified the order, your job is sent to our pre-press department, where your artwork is prepared for the printing process. This includes converting the files into a format suitable for our printing equipment and ensuring all details are correct. If any inconsistencies are found, we’ll contact you for clarification before proceeding.
Printing and Order Tracking
After pre-press approval, your order is processed through our print presses. Each job is tracked with a unique code that ensures we have the correct material, quantity, and finishing details. This code is used to monitor the job through the entire production process.
Custom Finishing
Every printed item is unique in its finishing requirements, whether it’s size, material, shape, or custom features. We use automated systems to streamline finishing processes, which helps keep costs low and pass those savings directly to you. Different types of products, such as banners with hems and eyelets or flags with pole pockets, are set up with distinct finishing specifications.
Packaging and Quality Control
Once your products are printed and finished, they move to our packing department. Here, items are checked off against the order details using the unique code system. After the checks, your items are wrapped and securely packed, ready for dispatch.
Delivery
At this stage, your order is ready for shipping. From the moment you place your order, your items take approximately 24-48 hours to reach the packing stage. Our logistics team arranges the shipping via UPS, ensuring timely delivery. For UK mainland and most of mainland Europe, standard delivery takes an additional 3 days (free on orders over £250). We also offer an expedited 4-day turnaround service for urgent orders, particularly suited for higher-volume jobs. For international shipping, delivery times will vary depending on the destination.
For destinations like Ireland, the Isle of Wight, and the Scottish Highlands, please allow an extra day for delivery.
